Lumphoid organs and immune responses: Primary lymphoid organs, Secondary lymphoid organs, cells of immune response – lymphoid lineage – myeloid lineage UNIT II: Antigens – epitopes & paratope – antigenic determinants – factors for antigenicity – types. Immunoglobulins – structure, classes, properties and functions. Antigen-antibody reaction – salient features, types, precipitation, agglutination, cytolysis, complement fixation, flocculation, opsonizatio...
